April Vacation Week Schedule

I understand that many families have planned activities and vacations during this week but baseball games and practices still go on during vacation weeks so it is important that attendance remain a priority. If players are missing games due to non-school related activities then it will impact playing time for the next game that they return for (This was discussed in the parent meeting and is listed in the baseball bibles that all of the kids received).

Monday - Game #3 Goffstown vs. Plymouth (away)
Plymouth High School at 4:00 pm, Student Athletes are asked to arrive at the school by 1:30 PM Bus leaves at 1:45 pm. Student Athletes are expected to take the bus home from the game, if not then a form signed by parent is needed before the game.

Tuesday – Practice 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm behind the school (Batting Practice and a quick Infield/Outfield)

Wednesday - Game #4 Goffstown vs. Oyster River (away)
Oyster River High School at 4:00 pm, Student Athletes are asked to arrive at the school by 1:30 PM Bus leaves at 1:45 pm. Student Athletes are expected to take the bus home from the game, if not then a form signed by parent is needed before the game.

Thursday - OFF DAY!

Friday - Game #5 Goffstown vs. Hanover (away)
Dresden Athletic Fields at 4:00 pm, Student Athletes are asked to arrive at the school by 1:45 PM Bus leaves at 2:00 pm. Student Athletes are expected to take the bus home from the game, if not then a form signed by parent is needed before the game.

Saturday and Sunday - Rest up, Stretch, Ice, Hydrate, enjoy the rest of your vacation week and make sure to be prepared for our next week of games.

If a player cannot make it to a practice or a game they must inform me prior to that practice or game via a text or a phone call. If parents have any questions or concerns please have the players address them with me. Wednesday, April 19th:
GAME #2 Goffstown vs. Pembroke Academy
4:00 pm at Lions Field in Goffstown
No bus to the field or after the game.

Thursday, April 20th:
Junior Varsity players will practice from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm behind the school a the practice field.

Friday, April 21st:
GAME #3 Goffstown vs. Windham
4:00 pm at Windham High School
Players are dismissed at 2:00 pm, bus leaves at 2:15 pm. There will be a bus home from the game.

Rest up this weekend! We have three away games next week over April Vacation (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)!

Wednesday, April 12th:
Junior Varsity players will practice from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Allard Park

Thursday, April 13th:
GAME #1 Goffstown vs. Merrimack Valley
4:30 pm at Mountainview Middle School
Bus will leave from the school after end of school day (3:00 pm). All players are expected to take the bus to and from the game. Players should ensure that all equipment is on the bus before it leaves.

Friday, April 14th:
Junior Varsity players will practice from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Allard Park. Final collection for fundraiser coupon booklet sales will be collected at end of practice

Saturday, April 15th:
All players and coaches will meet at the school at 9:45 am in Goffstown jerseys and other school apparel. Blitz day will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a luncheon (Buffalo Wild Wings) provided by Mike G. of MG sports in Room 100. We will then total up all of the card sales and will award prizes to top sellers and all those who earn awards. Players should expect to be here until around 2:00 pm.

Sunday, April 16th:

We are very excited to once again be partnering with Michael Garczynski of MG Sports for our 2017 program fundraising. The players did an excellent job last year selling the coupon booklets which helped pay for the apparel each player got as well as new equipment for the program. The booklets are $20 each again this season and every Junior Varsity and Varsity player is responsible for doing their best to sell the 25 cards they each received (more are available upon request). Last years top seller walked away with just over $400 in gift cards, cash, and other prizes! We have gone over many of the perks that each player is eligible for and have asked each player to do their best to sell their 25 cards by April,15th which is the final day of the booklet sales. 

MG Sports has done a great job making changes to the coupons being offered based on last years feedback from players. We have added multiple golf courses and restaurants to the booklets and in total there is up to $350.00 in savings in each booklet!

We thank the parents in advance for their assistance with the fundraising program as we know that each of your has as much to do with the success as the players do.
