The Boys Track and Field team had their season opener in Leverone Field House at Dartmouth College on Sunday. The meet had been delayed due to the winter weather that arrived early Saturday morning. Some great performances were had by all competing athletes. Oliver Gunski threw a PR and new school record in the shot put with a distance of 45' 5.75"! He is currently the number one thrower in the state. Jackson Brannen had a great race on the track in the 1000m, winning with a time of 2:45.51! Some other notable performances were from Ben Dodge in the Long Jump and Dash, and Nate Smith in the 300m. The Grizzlies take to the track and field again in the Paul Sweet Oval at UNH on Monday 12/26 at 5pm.
