Goffstown (12-2) earned their 12th victory of the season beating the Jaguars of Windham 4 to 1 in 7 innings on Tuesday at Lions Field in Goffstown. After a thrilling 9 inning game against Windham two weeks ago where Goffstown came out on top, both teams were eager for this matchup. Myles Green (5-0) earned his 5th win of the season with another dominant performance for the Grizzlies by throwing 6 innings allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while walking three and striking out 6. The game was scoreless through three innings as both teams had limited base runners to start the game. Derek Steckowych led off the 4th inning and was hit by a pitch, Bobby Doherty then reached on an error and then a fly ball to Center field by TJ Dutton and a Sacrifice Fly by Ben Dodge led to Steckowych scoring the first run of the game. The 5th inning began with a Jake Bliven single uo the middle and then Kyle Dubois came in the game to run for him. Sebastian Beal then doubled to left center, narrowly missing a home run which allowed Dubois to score. Derek Steckowych came up and doubled to center which plated Beal. River Pelletier then pinch ran for Steckowych, advanced to 3rd on a stolen base and then scored on a passed ball to make the score 4 to 0. Eli Antoniello came in to close out the game in the 7th and allowed no hits, walked 1 and struck out 1 to earn the save. Steckowych (2 for 3 with 2 singles, 1 hit by pitch, 2 RBI's and 1 run scored), Beal (1 for 2 with 1 double, 2 walks 1 run scored and an RBI.
