The Grizzlies (5-0) earned their 5th win of the season list night topping St. Thomas Aquinas 3 to 0 in 7 innings at Lions Field in Goffstown. Myles Green led the Grizzlies and silenced St. Thomas throwing a complete game shutout allowing 2 hits, 2 walks and striking out 4 to earn his 3rd win of the season. Goffstown helped out defensively in this game turning three double plays in the game helping erase two different scoring opportunities by St. Thomas. Goffstown also struggled on offense with only managing 6 hits in the game but thanks to patience at the plate they were able to add 6 walks as well. Will Soucy led the Grizzlies on offense with a 2 for 3 day (1 single, 1 double, 1 run scored). A single by Soucy in the 2nd inning followed by walks by Dutton and Green gave way for a Renaud Pelletier SAC FLY to center which plated SOucy for the 1st run of the game. While that was all Myles Green would need for offense on the day, Goffstown added a run scored by Liam Kilbreth in the 5th after a Will Soucy double and Kyle Dubois scored the 3rd run of the game later that inning after TJ Dutton grounded to Shortstop. The Grizzlies will pick up the action on Wednesday, May 3rd at 4:00 pm against Coe Brown in Northwood.
